Dr. Fidella Tiew has been involved in higher education teaching for more than 24 years. Her research interests include event management and impacts, destination and services marketing. Her career at Curtin University has seen her holding different portfolios – Head of Student Services, a Lecturer teaching Services Marketing, Event Management and Public Relations, a Department Head of Marketing, to the current position of Director. Prior to working in Higher Education field, Fidella has worked in hospitality industry, holding various management positions in food and beverage, events and banquets, human resources and public relations.
